Pleased as a first-time out-of-towner customer seeking out Mom-n-Pop eateries. This placed delived on its promise: food was delicious and piping hot, although at $18+ for a BBQ plate (2 small sides) + sweet tea, not cheap by any means. Still. Friendliest service I ever did see, and that's no lie. Smack dab at lunch hour yet was fast and quick. Nice local's spot. Did this used to be a stand-alone joint vs. in a strip mall? That would've been even better, IMO. Will return for sure and would gladly bring others.

Best BBQ in Alabama IMO! Try a stuffed potato outside chop add bacon!! Best BBQ potato you'll ever eat! Don't forget to ask for outside chop!! You get the charred parts and it is amazing! If you're not in the mood for BBQ get a cheeseburger it's huge, and delicious!!! Highly recommend this place! They are in a small location...because the original was gutted by fire,but they are working to rebuild it!!

I'll be honest here. I've probably eaten BBQ in over 30 states and have tasted good and terrible BBQ. This place has always been in this area since I was a child and I've watched it develop into what it's become. Now that being said it is absolutely the worst BBQ I've ever eaten in my entire life. I swear people in the area must not have a taste bud 1 in their head. The pulled pork had the consistency of bacon bits and the sauce taste like it was made in a dumpster. I wouldn't recommend this place to a convict on death row. These people should literally shut down and take a bit to regroup and explore a better avenue of recipes and find a better cook or method in making BBQ.

We made a big take out order. We got a BBQ plate with baked beans and baked potato. The beans were too spicy and the bread that comes with the meal was brick hard! We also got a hamburger and fries. The meat in the hamburger was half the size of the bun! The fries were soggy. We ordered other things and they was ok but Nothing like they use to be! The food has went down hill from what it use to be. Very disappointed!

I really enjoyed the bbq here. I highly recommend it if you're in the area. The pork sandwiches were really good. The sauce is not too thick which is what I like. Also enjoyed the potato salad. If you're ever in the area and you're in the mood for some good southern bbq, then stop by this restaurant and give them a try, you will not be disappointed. 5 star experience across the board for me!!!!! Check 'em out!

Well I have met the nicest people I've ever met here at Green Top -Dora. They even swapped out the terrible pork sandwiches we had ( our opinion ) for chicken sandwiches which was better. The FF were great. Sorry but I don't believe I can recommend this BBQ to anyone.

Love this place! I've been eating here for over 30 years for good reason! Family owned and operated! I recommend trying the inside-chopped barbeque sandwich with coleslaw on it or a barbecue baked potato or salad! 😉👍 …
